Does Lymecycline Interact With The Morning After Pill?

Hello, My boyfriend put his penis inside me 3 times without a condom at the beginning of sex and we immediately put a condom on. Is the chances of me getting pregnant high? I had my period last week. Also I am taking lymecycline (4th day in for perioral dermatitis on my face) would this interact with the morning after pill if I need to take it??? Thanks

Hello,

Lymecycline does not interact with contraceptive pills and does not result in contraceptive failure. Nothing much to worry and no back up contraceptives are required. However, you have to be cautious while using antibiotics like Rifampicin and Amoxicillin along with contraceptive pills as they can interact with pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
