-You should maintain proper oral hygiene.
-Take a diet rich in vitamin B12 and folic acid supplement for a week.
-If the condition doesn't get improve in ten days then consult oral pathologist for proper diagnosis and to rule to a condition like a mouth breathing or any underlying disease.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your black tongue. The Imodium have many side effects and one of it is dry mouth, dry mouth can cause fungal infection or changes in the epithelium of tongue. These can be the cause of your black tongue.
You need to visit an oral Medicine expert and get your tongue checked, in case there is signs of any fungal infection, you need to take local anti-fungal mouth paint like CANDID or systemic anti-fungal medication, in case it is severe only after consulting your doctor.
