Does Amoxicillin Have Any Side Effects?

My one year old son is on a second round of ear infections In both ears this month. He was on amoxicillin the first time, and since that didn t clear it completely, he is now on amoxicillin/clavulanic acid suspension (4ml two times a day). He started it Thursday morning, and as of Friday morning he has developed a rash all over his body. Pink little dots. Should I be concerned and what should I do?

Thanks for your query on HCM. It seems like your son has got allergic reaction to one of the components of the medicaction. Please stop giving the medicine to your son and consult your doctor immediately.
