Do Palpitations Need Urgent Care?
i have been having palpitations for about one week. went to the md today and tests were ordered, but now heart rate is at 126 with lots of palpitations. This is new for me and i am not an anxious person. Should i seek attention in urgent care now or wait on the testing?

with palpitation, of such type, and if not associated with chest discomfort, dizziness, breathlessness, i would recommend to wait avoiding triggering factors like coffee, tea, alcohol, or any stimulant.
Overall i would ask you to get EKG as soon as you start palpitating, during palpitation best to know whether it has cardiac origin, or the other cause.
