Do Numbness And Pain In Labia Majora Suggest A Cyst?

I have numbness of the skin of my right labia. Underlying that is a severe pain which seems to be in the musculature of the right hip, though not in the joint itself. No difficulty walking, but very painful sitting. This is status post colorectal cancer surgery, chemo and radiation. Pain is worse during and after straining with bowel movements. A cyst on a tendon, perhaps?

although it is possible that a cyst might be involved, given your history and the symptoms, it is much more likely that there has been some sort of nerve injury or maybe inflammation that is the cause. either the disease, or the treatment with surgery and radiation etc may have caused some injury to the nerve in the area which is the likely cause of the numbness and pain in the labia. you should talk to your doctor about possible options for diagnosis and treatment.
