Dizzy Spells After Light Activity. Fluid Build Up, Increased Lasix. Chest Heavy With Fluid. Low Potassium?

Lately I have been getting dizzy spells after light activity or walking, I have a lot of health problems, one is fluid build up in my legs and abdomin. I have diabetic syrosis. I have had to up my lasix to rid me of the fluid, and at times after a brief walk I get winded and dizzy. A few days ago I amost passed out. And my chest feels like its heavy with fluid. no pain like a heart attack, I've had 4 of those. Could low Potassium be my problem?

Hi it can be because of a low pottassium. You should check your serum electrolytes level. And if you are not on any contraindicating drug for potassium saving diuretics, you can use that instead of lasix which cause a potassium break down. Or you can combine lasix with spironolactone a potassium sparing drug.
thanks
