Difficulty In Breathing And Cough During Rainy Weather. Why?

I have difficulties in breathing and it wakes me up all of a sudden from sleep during night. It come with cough and thick white phlegm. I usually find it on rainy days. It lasts for 3 to 4 hours to settle down and come to normal condition. Though it doesn't happen quite frequently I may observe once or twice in a month especially during rainy season. Please advise on this.

Hello
Welcome to HCM

Your complaints were reviewed. Your seasonal symptoms could be suggestive allergy/ asthmatic attack. Do you have wheezing associated with breathing difficulty? If so it is advisable to consult a pulmonologist/physician. They would examine and would advise some investigations to confirm like spirometry and advise you bronchodilators if needed. Hence so consult pulmonologist as early as possible.

Hope u find this information helpful.

Wish u gud health.
