Diarrhea With Metallic Smell, Vomiting. Is It A Stomach Flu?
Hello, i have been awfully sick for the past 5 days. I believe it is stomach flu because i had bad diareah and was vommitting quite a bit. Today is day # six. I ate a little food yesterday which i kept in my system, however, i just used the washroom and there is a very very foul smelling smell. Kind of like metal. Is this something to worry about? I also am very bloated, I am a healthy 25 year old male. Please help!

Noted the history about diarrhea and vomiting for 5 days followed by very foul smelling diarrhea on day 6.
This indicates more towards bacterial cause than the viral.
Hence I would adcise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for examination and clinical evaluation.
Get the vital checked and request for tests of stool and blood.
If there is any evidence of a bacterial intestinal infection your Doctor would advise you an appropriate antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics.
Also take plenty of oral fluids and electrolyte solution to avoid dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
Continue the treatment till cured well.
