Diagnosed With Severe Aplastic Anemia, Low Haemoglobin Level, Serum Sickness And Anal Infection

My mother(54 yrs)was diagnosed of Severe Aplastic Anemia in July 2013 when she had heart pain(due to lack of blood for pumping to heart) and palpitations her hemoglobin went down to 3% which we never knew early.. imm doctors said that we should start treatment and she will be ok and new nloos cells will generate.. From aug 26th she went through Immunosuppresive therapy -Atg and cyclosporin and the side effects were so severe and wach day wad a nightmare for us to watch her ho through serum sickness, liver disfunctioning, short breaths, chills fevers, one after the other though we were by her 24 /7 all the 3 weeks of treatmnt .. doctors said she can be discharged but on same day she had an anal infection which doctors told is also a rare side effect called as Perinnial infection but doctors never gave medicine for 1 week until the condition worsened and she was rushed to ICU later has a internal bleed in brain due to low platelets and had a multi organ failure and she passed away on 26th sep 2013..is it common to die in the process of treatmnt and did anything go wrong during treatment? Is perinnial infection common side effect, can ut be cured or it killed my mom due to doctors negligence?we were told that once we take a atg treatmnt she will be okay and planned for discharge and had so many dreams and hopes which are all wiped out.. Plz provide info.. Thanks

Dear Sir,

It is not possible to predict that everybody reacts in a different way to the same regimen . It cannot be said whether treatment didnt go well or the disease took the toll.
