Diagnosed With A Rare Parasite Called E. Histolytica, Damaged Intestines, Painful, Gas. Taken Antibiotics. What Can Be Done?

My daughter was diagnosed with a rare parasite called E. histolica. She has finished a course of two antibiotics but apparently this parasite has done a lot of damage to the lining of her intestines. She is still in a lot of pain. Her doctor has said that it may take two to three months for the lining of her intestines to regenerate. Are there foods that can help this condition in terms of being less inflammatory to her system. She continues to have a lot of gas, and says that she feels like the smell comes through her skin....any suggestions?

Hello,
Thanks for posting to HCM,
Tab. metrogyl 400 mg thrice a day.
Don't share towels and flannels.
Regularly clean with disinfectant the toilets that you use. With hot water and detergent, wipe the flush handle, toilet seat, bathroom taps.
