Diagnosed With Raynauds Syndrome

I was diagnosed with Raynauds syndrome, and recently saw my monocyte count is 14. I am 25, dont smoke, drink do drugs and have a healthy diet. secondary raynauds has a lot of underlying cancers and autoimmune disorder, primary raynauds, 1 out of 10 people still go on to develop on autoimmune disorder. My monocytes are high, and my temperature has been normal. Ive been plauged with the horrible norovirus however. Would noro cause a high monotcyte or low count? A low count i read is from bacterias, but noro is a virus. Is there a chance my monocytes could be at 14 over that or could this be a sign of a form of cancer or autoimmune disorder, which seems likely due to raynauds.

Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Increased monocyte does not indicate cancer or autoimmune disorder.
2. Raynauds syndrome is itself an autoimmune disorder secondary to connective tissue disorder like systemic lupus erythematosus.
3. Not to worry. Monocytes at 14 is not significant. Continue your healthy life style with nutritional diet and moderate exercises. You do not have any bacterial or viral infection.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
