Diabetes, Severe Cough, Back Pain, Shoulder Pain. Insulin Dependent. Is There A Problem With Lungs?

Sir,My mother is an insulin dependent diabetic patient and now for the last three years having severe cough. Have shown many specialists and taken many medicines. After a short break again starts the pain. Now for the last few months having pain on the back of the body below left shoulder. She can not sit and cut vegetables and fish. That time having severe pain. Have taken many medicines. But all in vain. Is there any problem with her Lungs. Please advice sir. My email is YYYY@YYYY

Dear sir/madam

Insulin dependent diabetes sometimes poses the state of immunocomprimised. So you are very much prone to infections.

Even they are prone to develop muscle spasms and frozen shoulders so what best you can do is to
1. Chest x ray
2. bone mineral density evaluation.
3. calcium supplementation along with vitamin d3 in adequate doses
