Dark Purple Bruise On Stomach, Reoccurring. Suffering From Graves Disease, High BP. Anything To Worry?
I have any unexplained dark purple bruise on the left side of my stomach & its flat & smooth. This has happened a few times in the past only on the stomach & goes away in a few days. I didn't bang into anything & it doesn't hurt. I have graves disease, underactive thyroid, high blood pressure,& over weight. On medication for blood pressure exforge & levoxyl for throid. What is this unexplained dark purple bruise from? Should I worry?
Hello, Thanks for the query. I dont think it is related to graves disease. this bruise might be due to platelet defect. Please get your platelet levels done. You can use oint thrombophobe to remove the bruise.
