Cut Thumb. Bled, Fatty Tissue Sticking Out. Lack Of Sensitivity In The Area. Permanent Damage To Nerves?

I cut my thumb just above the joint 2 months ago. It bled a lot and I could see some fatty tissue sticking out of the thum. I went to the emergency room and the nurse said she could glue it together and that would be fine. Its 2 months later now and I have very little feeling on one side of the thumb. Have I done permanent damage to my nerves? The thumb still looks a little inflamed.

hi

The feeling of having low sensation on one side of the thumb do suggests that you might have permanently damaged the nerve however still a try with physiotherapy might be helpful

Thanks
