Cut And Swelling On The Upper Lip Due To A Fall After Feeling Lightheaded. Swelling On The Cheek Bone, Black Eye. Advice?
I became light headed last Satyrday evening. Fell on a wood deck with the left side of my face taking the impact. Bad upper lip cut and swelling to the upper lip and my right cheek bone to the brunt of the fall. Result black eye. I have had dizziness symptons since then, especially if I turn my head to quick or turn a corner,
Due to accidental fall you have traumatised your right cheek and upper lip,
There are chances of fracture in the zygomatic region.
Black eye indicates hematoma formation in the region.
Visit to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon check for fracture, occlusion, any mobility in the tooth,or any mobile fracture segment.
Take necessary x-rays , OPG, PA waters .
Apply moist packs over the swelling.
Maintain a good oral hygiene .
Take tab amoxiclav 625 mg and tab ibuprofen twice for three days till you see the doctor.
Hope this helps out.
Regards.
