Hi!
WELCOME TO HCM!
The craving for chalk, plaster of paris is most likely related to iron deficiency. The general medical term for craving certain items is "pica." It's not known why iron deficiency causes pica. But once a person has replenished his or her iron stores, the craving disappears. You can get a iron study test done and then start treatment in supervision of a doctor.
hope this will help you!
