Hi,

Noted your history about pain in the back wherein you have wedge fracture at T7 and T8 levels as seen on bone scan also, Doctors treating you as soft tissue injury.
It would be interesting to know the cause of wedge fracture and other details about the disease or injury that caused the wedge fracture, the duration and correlation with the pain that you have.
Any disease like Tuberculosis or trauma causing such changes are sure to cause the local pain and referred pain if there is compression on the nerve roots.
This can be diagnosed well by the following ways:
Consult an Orthopedic or Neuro Surgeon for clinical evaluation, examination and get further relevant investigations as per the findings.
Tests of blood and urine.
MRI of the affected area as MRI along can show the spinal cord, the discs and so on, give correlation with the symptoms that you have and a plan for further management.
Surgical correction if required.
Medical management with painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicines.
Anti-tubercular treatment or anything else as the cause may be found.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
