Could The Mirena IUD Cause Depression With Lack Of Sex Drive?

Hi iam 21 female I have mirena BC. Since sept 2013 ever since I got this thing I ve had bad pains in tummy. Depression I ve lost 20lbs leaving me at 94lbs now. No sex drive. And doctors have done ultra sound. Pelvic exam. Blood Work and can t find anything wrong and won t take it out. Please help.

Mirena generally does not cause such symptoms. Further evaluation into any underlying issues including hormonal problems, mental health issues need to be explored. So please follow up with your primary provider.
