Could Tenderness In Chest Be Due To Anxiety Attack?
Hi I am experiencing tenderness in my chest, mostly breast bone area, with no injury. Feels like I have been punched in the chest and it is bruised or something. I had a anxiety attack on the freeway yesterday because of a blown tire. Could this just be muscle soreness from a anxiety attack?
I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. According to psychology / psychiatry, the tenderness or soreness around your chest area could be related to anxiety. Anxiety produces acidity and the resultant gastric symptoms pushes the diaphragm up and constricts the whole of chest area. We push our chest area often during this constriction and feel pain due to that pushing activity afterwards. From that view point, your muscle soreness could be of anxiety.
To be sure, you should visit your physician.
Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.
Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
