Could Taking Alcohol While Suffering With Fever Harmful?

hello doctor i have a doubt .. i got fever yesterday and got medication from a physician . But my stupid concern is one of my friends is coming from UK for a visit and hence coming with foreign brands of alcohol . i would like to take one or two pegs .. will that affect me drastically ... please advice the temperature is 100 F yesterday

Its not advisable to take alcohol during fever episodes since it may affect your liver metabolism and your sensorium, in addition if you are taking some drugs for fever, alcohol may badly interact with the drugs.
