Could Severe Dizziness, Nausea With Migraine Like Headache Be Benign Vertigo?

I fe had severe dizzines over the last three days. today is at its worst. i ve been waking up with it and then after about half an hour its gone and the only thing i feel during the day is a migraine-like headache. Today its different though...i woke up with it and its not going - i cant walk with out help and am constantly dizzy with severe nausea I did go to the doctor on the first day and he said that i might have benign vertigo and that it would go away by itself...its getting worse...what do you think?
