Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
Any lung insult whether tuberculosis, pneumonia or Pulmonary contusions heal by following mechanism
1. Fibrosis
2. Calcification
3. Bronchiectesis
4. Rarely complete resolution.
Fibrosis and calcification are common and appear as scar lesion on chest x ray. These lesions will remain as it is through out the life.
So for visa purpose, we need to prove that it is old, healed, inactive lesions.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done CT thorax and bronchoscopy with BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) analysis.
If both are negative for active infectious disease like tuberculosis than you can argue with visa authority about not having active, infectious disease and lesions on x ray are old, inactive lesions.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
