Could Pea Sized Lump Under Chin Be A Swollen Gland?

I have a pea sized lump, feels like a hard bead, under my chin. Its located right between my jaw bone. Does not hurt and is stationary. Has been there for years so thats why I question if its a swollen gland. Just curious as to what it may be. I am going to see my pcp this week.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to health care magic,

Since you are anyway seeing your doctor, just make sure of these:
-get a proper examination of the lump and note the findings
-get an FNAC of the lump
-if needed then you may also go for a biopsy

In any case since the swelling is small and not much changed over the years I would not worry too much but of course it pays to be safe

regards
