Could Osteoporosis Or Hyperparathyroidism Be The Cause For Double Vision?

my mother in law has a recurrence of double vision-she had surgery on her eye muscles a little over a year ago and now the double vision is back. she takes steroids for PMR, synthroid for hypothyroid and has bad osteoporosis and hyperparathyroidism with elevated serum calcium can any of these be the cause of double vision?

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
IS she a diabetic?
What was the indication for primary surgery?
The medicines or conditions she is having won't directly cause double vision.
But there can be some underlying disease condition which causes paralysis of eye muscles and there by double vision..
She needs a complete ocular examination if necessary by a neurophthalmologist to come to a diagnosis..
Hope I helped with my answer..You can contact for any further information needed.
Take care..
