Could Mild Cough After Being Cured Of Mild TB Be The Symptom Of Recurred Disease?
i was affected slightly to t.b few months back.i had medication for 3 months..wen i was completely normal,i stopped using the drugs prescribed to me..from the last 3 days..i am getting mild cough.i am afraid that the disease has started again...please help me..what should i do now?
Hi, Medications of 3 months is inadequate for TB. The medications need to be started and stopped only at doctors advice. You should immediately visit a pulmonologist and get yourself clinically evaluated. If it was a diagnosis of confirmed TB at outset, then there are high chances of relapse. Regards Dr. Mishra
