Could Itchy, Discolored Skin Behind The Ear Indicate Fungal Infection?

I think i have some type of fungus behind my left ear. It all started with itching and now that skin is as a dark color. Its dry and it causes some part of my scalp to be dry which causes dandruff on my hair. Do i need to go to a doctor to check it out? Is there anything over the counter i can take?

Hi,
From history it seems that the dandruff infection on your scalp is the cause of having itchy,dark color behind your ear.
There might be having dermatitis over the part.
With the treatment of dandruff your problem might be solved.
Consult dermatologist and get examined.
