Could Itchy Abrasion On Face And Small Circle Near Earlobe Indicate Ringworm Infection?

I was wondering if I have a ring worm on my face. I do wrestle but have been inactive for a couple of weeks. I noticed a small like abrasion on the right side of my face near my eye. Since then has scabed up and continues to ooze. There has also been a pimple that was scrapped while washing my face this has now turned into a small circle near my right ear lobe. They both itch but I have refrained from scratching or even touch other than to wash and dry them.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thankyou for your question.
It could be either eczema (allergy) or fungal infection. If it is eczema, using emolients and ointment diphenhydramine can relieve itch.If it is circular in shape , then mostly it can be fungal, and ointment nystatin can be applied for treatment.
Wish you best of health.
Regards,Dr.Maheshwari
