Could Headache And Fainting Be Caused By Diabetics?

On 26th Jan I donated blood and was perfectly fine when suddenly while taking Juice & sweets, I fainted, again after abt 2-3 during tooth treatment I fainted on Dentist s Chair itself. Also I have a headache since last 12 months.About 10days back I performed a blood test for Fasting Sugar which came 200! 2hrs after lunch sugar was 325,but, now I have controlled my Diet and taking Glynase MF 1/2 tab twice daily. Is my headache and fainting due to Diabeties? and is my fainting an indication of something more than that I can see? Is there anything wrong with my Nervous System?

Dear Sir/Madam,
Fainting is possible both in hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia. Now that you are taking tablets do you get fainting episodes? If not then you dont have to worry and can blame it fully on diabetes. If you get fainting episodes persists then it is something which needs a complete neurological evaluation.
Headache can happen with sugar fluctuations.
One more point outside your question. Since you have been recently started on medication for diabetes i feel Glynase MF 1/2 twice daily is too strong dose. This strong kind of dosing can push you into hypoglycemia very fast. SO be a bit careful and check your sugars regularly.
I suggest you meet your Diabetologist with latest fasting and post prandial reports for dose titration (reduction). For any further assistance do not hesitate to get back
