Could Feeling Of Pulsing Brain, Weight Gain And Fatigue Be Withdrawal From Cipralex?
I was on Cipralex, 10 mg. for 18 months due to work related stress. I recently retired, so cut back to 5 mg. for one month and then stopped taking it. Since then, however, I am having sensations in my head.... like I can feel my brain pulsing, have gained weight, very tired, achy, & lethargic. Would this be withdrawal symptoms?

Cipralex is used mainly for depression and anxiety.
Fatigue and lethargy can occur in these mood disorders. It is possible , that with the withdrawal of the cipralex, these physical symptoms that can occur with these conditions are recurring.
IN terms of your weight, cipralex can be associated with weight loss or is weight neutral due to change in certain chemicals.
The weight gain is not a withdrawal effect.
