Could Excruciating Pain While Moving Head And Neck Of A 6 Year Old Be Due To A Pinched Nerve?

My son is 6 years old and sometimes when he turns his head quickly he gets an obviously excruciating pain in his neck and a burning sensation down his face - "feels like his face is on fire". Since little his back has been a bit "cracky". Could this be a pinched nerve or something else and if so what? When this happens it takes a while for the pain to recede and he screams when it happens.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
With a vigours movement of the neck, any one will have pain and discomfort.
Any how we will discuss the causes of the pain and discomfort.
The reasons for the acute pain may be the cervical color,or muscle twitch due to calcium deficiency.
I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
