Could Dark And Cloudy Urine Be A Symptom Of HIV ?

I have recently moved to Sweden, and started drinking tap water instead of distilled water. My urine has become dark, sometimes quite dark, and seems to be separating in the water. It also looks quite cloudy. It has a very strong odor, and it seemed regardless of the amount of water I drank the problem persisted. I went to the Dr. and got some basic blood work a urine analysis, and nothing showed. But the Dr. here said I should be checked for HIV, is that even a symptom?

This is not a typical symptom of HIV. Your doctor may have suggested an HIV test for other reasons. Many times a baseline HIV test may be recommended routinely for almost everybody, or regularly for people who are high risk (drug abuse, blood transfusion, multiple sexual partners, unprotected sex, gay men, etc). If you are in a high risk group, I would recommend you take the test. It's otherwise up to you, but if you've never had one, I'd suggest one as a routine health check. But not because of your symptoms.
