Could Cause Weakness In The Legs And Quads After An Operation To Remove A Bladder Stone And Partial Prostate?

Back in Feb 2017 I had an operation to remove a bladder stone and partial prostate. The operation went well but I ve gotten a noticeable weakness, mostly in legs/quads since. My PCP has run all kinds of tests, went to cardiologist and no one can find anything wrong.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to possible peripheral neuropathy or myasthenia gravis. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam and performing nerve conduction studies. It is also recommendable checking vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
