Could Blood Test Be Negative For Celiac Disease?

Hello i was tested for celiac came back negative. Dr did endo and I have h pylori and eoe. Dr said to treat hpylori first. Then to give me steroids for eoe . Can my blood show negative for celiac but can I still have beginning of disease? Ive been anemic for years

Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist (DM). Blood test may be negative if there is deficiency of IgA immunoglobulins. For confirmation one has to undergo endoscopy examination and duodenal biopsy.
