Could Blood Clots In Stool Be A Result Of Short Bowel Syndrome?
My son has Short Bowel Syndrome! He had been through 2 bowel lengthening procedures (STEP Procedures). After his 2nd lengthening, he started to have blood clots in his stool and has been loosing blood since then. What do you think is the cause of that?

I really appreciate your concern, if some surgical procedure being carried out in intestine then it must be the cause of blood stain stool and it could be the oozing of blood inside the intestine but without the investigation it can not be confirmed or some time clinical examination could alone gives the clues hope this information helps
