Could Blisters Under The Nostril Causing Tingling Sensation Indicate Shingles?

I have a blisters or rash under my right nostril. I thought it was blisters like you get on your lip but this happened last year same spot. I went to the doctors after what it could be because I had tingling during and after he thought it was shingles. What do you think?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain blisters under the nostrils over the lip along with rash can be due viral infection that is Herpes Zoster leading to Shingles while it can also be due to bacterial infection leading to Impetigo..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests, culture from the scraping from the lesion etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

In case of viral infection you can be advised anti viral medications that has to be taken orally as well as topical application like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir etc..
In case of Impetigo oral as well as topical antibiotics can be advised..
Along with it keep the area clean and dry..
