Hello,
thanks for the query to H.C.M.Forum.
First, please remove a misconception from your mind that "PHLEGM" have any relation with
oral sex.
Oral sex was 10 months ago , and phlegm started 5 months ago, so no relation.
Expectoration ( phlegm) ,if comes out ,it means there is infection in the lungs.
Usually patient inhale some allergen and co-incidence is that they also infect with some infectious agents as bacteria or virus.
Due to this infection and
allergy ,patient develops expectoration ( phlegm) in respiratory rout and phlegm starts through nose or throat.
Brown flecks may be due to blood ,either forceful
cough or infection.
So please get in blood examination ,sputum(phlegm) ,X-ray ( chest) and a physician consultation will help you.
Hope I have answered your query.
If any further question I will be happy to help.
Wish you best recovery.
Dr. HET
