Cough With Mucus, Fever. Widal Positive, ESR High. Chest X Ray Shows Patchy Air Space. Taking Antibiotics
hello sir,
I am having cough since last 5 days(yellow muscus coming) and having fever in grade of initially to 101 then after few days to 99F.Blood test result shown widal positive and ESR 75.
Chest X ray showing patchy air spaces opacites noted in left mid zone.
Another imp. thing that I was disgnose with Lymh nodes and took ATT treatement from October 2011 to July 2012.(9 months).
Now I am taking SKYI AZ antibiotic and Sumo tab for fever.
Kindly suggest.

Your history suggests that you are suffering from Acute Bronchopneumonia as well as ?Enteric fever which may be the cause of findings in chest x-ray.The previous history of having used ATT also important,as sometimes the Tuberculosis may get recurrence because of various factors which should be considered during your treatment.Anyhow,consult Physician for evaluation and management.
