Hello,
One has to titrate the injectable insulins very gradually and by a disciplined approach of gradually increasing the dose of basal as well as bolus insulin, one can achieve the proper blood sugar levels.
For this you have to monitor your blood sugar levels at fasting, pre lunch, post lunch, pre dinner and post dinner and evening times and then increasing or decreasing the dose of insulin is done.
You must not quit METFORMIN,as it is a very important drug for control blood sugar levels with loss of weight.
Along with medications take full dietary precautions and do regular aerobic exercises for 30 to 40 minutes a day.
Thanks
