Continued Periods For 3 Months Followed By Yeast Infection. History Of Being On Implanon, UTI. Body Rejecting Implant?

I've had my implanon implant for about 6 months now. Since then, I've had a period that lasted a month and a week. I've also had a on going period for 3 months now and its still going. I haven't bled in a few days, but now I'm starting to get a yeast infection. This is my second Yeast infection since I've been on implanon. I've also had one UTI. I was wondering if this is a way of my body rejecting the implant.

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
The chances of infection is very common with implanon implant.
In my opinion you should consult a gynecologist and get your proper examination and investigation done to rule out is their any need to remove implanon or not.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
