Constant fever, swollen & sore throat. Get strep throat frequently since childhood. How to cure?

I have been having constant fevers for the past 4 days and my throat is swollen and sore. Not just sore but irritated. My saliva feels thick and it takes more effort to swallow but other than these symptoms, I feel fine. I have a history of getting strep throat frequently as a child and I'm wondering if this might be strep throat?

Your symptoms suggest that you might be having an infection. whether it is due to strep or any other infection can be confirmed only after blood tests. You should visit the doctor who can carry out some blood tests and the necessary antibiotics can be started.
