Clear Liquid Discharge From The Anus. Diagnosed With Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Is That The Reason?
My husband just told me he has had clear liquid coming out of his anus. He doesn't feel it leaking out he just notices that his bottom is wet. He says it smells like semen. He has had retrograde ejaculations at times. He does not suffer from high blood pressure or diabetes but he was recently diagnosed with EE Eosophilinic esophagitis. Would this be caused by the retrograde ejaculation or the EE

Your husband told that he had clear liquid came out of his anus, found that bottom is wet,smells like semen.
It could be due to retrograde ejaculation, EE unless whole gut is effected it is not caused.
It may be due to infection of the colon.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.

I understand your concerns. Allergic reactions are common and having eosinophilic esophagitis is also vey hard to deal with on a daily basis. It is not unusual to have allergic colitis and the liquid discharge from anus may be related to eosinophilia. I also think that it might not be semen and if it is it usually does not soak the undergarments. I hope you consult a GI specialist as soon as you can.
