General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi and thanks for the query,
Advil is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug and simple helps in reducing fever and pain, and does not cure the cause of the symptoms. Its imperative that the child gets examined by a physician. Blood tests like a complete blood count, stool examinations and cultures and urine tests could be very useful in making a clear diagnosis and drawing up an appropriate management plan. Right lower abdominal pain compels exclusion of an acute abdomen, especially acute appendicitis.
I suggest you consult your family physician or pediatrician for proper examination and management., and urgently too.
thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
