Child Having Cough, Headache, Stomachache, Lethargic, Sleepy, Constipation, Red Rash Around Mouth. What Could It Be?

My son is 3yo and has a temp of 39.3, he has had this for 4 days and also has a cough, complains of sore head and stomach and is very disoriented. He is lethargic and sleeping all day and is not drinking, eating or going to the toilet. What are your thoughts? We have taken him to a doctor and they think it is a virus, but his symptoms are not getting better, they are getting worse. He also has a red rash around his mouth and nose.

Hi,
From history it seems that he is having viral infection.
As this is continued for 4-5 days thre might be possiblity of having bacterial infection as well.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Keep him well hydrated and give light diet.
Give analgesic for his symptoms and fever as and when required.
Ok and take care.
