Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Please let me know whether he is given chickenpox vaccine or not.
If not you have to give Acyclovir for 5 days after consulting your pediatrician.
If he is on steroids better withdraw as it causes more immunosuppression.
Regarding other symptoms usually they reduce once full blown chickenpox appears Other you take the help of pediatrician and follow his advice.
Hope this answer serves your purpose.
I shall be happy to answer any more queries.
