Child has appetite loss, vomiting, urinary discomfort. Developed sore throat, running nose, taking zanocin. Side effect?

My 10 month old daughter is having loss of appetite, vomiting on in-taking fluid milk formula especially at nights , disturbed sleep and slight discomfort in her urinary area. She recovered from a marginal fever 2 days back after having it for 3 days. She had no white matter in stool, however, her stools looked little bit of green but predominantly brown. We visited the doctor as her vomiting and loss of appetite still persisted. She is being administered Zanocin 50 ml 5ml till 6 days. She did not have a sore throat or running before starting this medication. Is this a side effect of this medication?

Hello,thanks for the query.
Loss of appetite, running nose, vomiting all these symptoms are due to fever and side effects of Zanocin( MIld).
10 months little child , she will recover spontaneously even without medicines , if there is fever pl use cold sponging , that's all.
If running nose continue than think about allergy that is common in this age group.
So don't worry your's daughter have nothing abnormal.
Good luck . Dr. HET
