Chances Of Re Injury As Broken Ankle Is Swollen And Painful
I am currently booked for surgery for my right ankle. I will have to have my heel bone broken and realigned, then my tendon and ligament have to be repaired as they are torn, then my big toe metatarsal must be broken and realigned as well as it doesn't touch the ground when I walk. Currently my surgery is tentatively booked for September, however I recently feel I might have re injured my ankle because it is very swollen and painful. Should I contact my orthopaedic surgeon regarding this? I know how busy they are and I don't want them to think I am whining.
