Can The HIV Test Result Be Negative?

Hi! I am from India and married for the last 2 years..My wife is two-and-a-half months pregnant and all her general test results are fine except HIV. Her HIV test result is in the grayzone i.e 0.10, which has taken away my sleep as we were facing no health problems since marriage. Can the results be negative?? Please suggest me...

Gray zone results suggest intermediate between positive and negative. you can not take risk. It may be positive may be negative. so go for confirmatory test to confirm what is the status. Its not necessary that you have symptoms of hiv.so go for further testing like p24 ag based test.
