Can Swelling And Rashes On The Legs Along With Acid Reflux Be Symptoms Of An Underlying Heart Condition?

I am a 51 year old woman. I started having swelling and rashes on my legs a couple years ago. The swelling and rashes over time have consistently gotten worse. I have an almost constant pressure on the left side of my chest. I have also had spasms in my lower back that actually felt 'deep' like it was my kidneys spasming and not my actual back. I have been having persistent heartburn and more headaches than usual. Could these be symptoms of an underlying heart condition?

Hi,

Swelling on the legs may be due to a cardiac problem or renal problem or anemia or liver insufficiency.

Also, possible with eczema of lower limbs or atopic dermatitis or cellulitis or deep vein thrombosis etc.

Please get examined for cardiac or renal problems. Get it done color Doppler of both lower limbs. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
