Can permanent deafness be cured?

Greeting for the Day..!! TOI nepots that a drug code- ZY 411575 can reverse permanent deafness induced by drug and will be available the market by 2014..?? it would be so kind of u if u please intimate me about its availability... Regards Ur pt. Dr Mamta

Read and understood your concern about The new drug about permanent cure for hearing loss.
Unfortunately, there is still no such a wonder drug which is available in market.
Please do not believe such stories or persons if they are claiming so .
Whenever's it is available the ENT fraternity will come to know.
You can certainly try cochlear implants. They work nicely.
