Can Patients Taking Efavirenz Show False Positive For Marijuana?
I have an person who tested positive for marijuana use via urine screening. He s on the drug Efavirenz. I found one study at WWW.WWWW.WW that indicated 98% of people with HIV on a regimen containing Efavirenz tested false positive for benzodiazepines - but not marijuana. Your assistance is determining whether or not this is a false positive would be greatly appreciated.

Effaverenzi s an anti HIV drug antiviral, and though marijuana use increase its effect in the body, claiming it to be the false positive marijuana in urine is not proved , at least not in my knowledge. As these two drugs have nothing in common and they are totally different. SO better have a second opinion from addiction medicines specialist for better judgement.
